Know About IIT JEE – Joint Entrance Examination

If you dreaming to get admission to IIT’s and NIT’s of our country India, which is like a prestigious moment for any students who completed their Class 12th and want to pursue their engineering courses but the main question is how?

There is only a single door to get the entry in IIT or NIT with the help of JEE Exams which was written by every student those who willing to get admission. Every year so many students write JEE Exams but few students selected an all India basis.

JEE Stands for Joint Entrance Examination this exam is conducted to give admission in IITs, NITs, IIITs, and Government funded Technical Institute. Earlier the responsibility of conducting this exam given to CBSE until 2018 but from 2019 onwards the responsibility of conducting the JEE Mains Exam is given to the National Testing Agency and the responsibility of conducting the JEE Advance Exam given to any one of the 7 Zonal IITs.

By writing the JEE Mains Exam students get admission options in any of 31 NITs, 25 IIITs, and 28 Government-funded Technical Institute all over the country and to get admission in any of 23 IITs students need to clear JEE Advanced exams.

JEE Mains:

The paper of JEE Mains conducted into a different mode which is as follows:

Mode – ‘A’: In these those students who wanted to take admission in B.E./B.Tech they have to give a computer-based test in which various questions from Physics, Chemistry, and Maths asked.

Mode – ‘B’: In this those students who wanted to take admission in B.Arch., then their whole paper distributed in three parts in the first and second part they have to give the computer-based test in which several questions of Maths and Aptitude Section asked While in third part your Drawing Ability Check this exam was Pen and Paper Mode.

Mode – ‘C’: In this those students who wanted to take admission in B.Planning then their whole paper distributed in three parts in the first and second part they have to give the computer-based test in which several questions of Maths and Apptitude asked while in third part several questions of B.Planning asked which is also a computer-based test.

Eligibility for JEE Exam:

As such, there is no specific age limit mentioned but those students who willing to apply they must be Completed Class 12th in 2018 or later. In Class 12th board exam you must have secured 75 percent marks aggregate in PCM and if you belong to SC/ST category then there is a relaxation in the percentage you just only need to get 65 percent aggregate marks

That Candidate who comes under the Top 20 percentile of their respective boards is also eligible.

Exam Pattern for JEE Mains:

Exam Pattern is also different according to the course which you applied.

For B.E/B. Tech course Mode ‘A’ – In this, there is a total of 75 Question asked out of which 25 Question each from Maths, Physics, and Chemistry which consist of Total 300 marks the nature of the question is objective paper type in which each section of 25 Question consist 20 questions MCQ based type and 5 questions you have to fill numeric value.

For B.Arch Course Mode ‘B’ – In this, there is a total of 77 Questions asked out of which 25 Questions from Maths consist of 20 questions MCQ based type and 5 questions numeric type. The second section is the Aptitude Section in which a total of 50 questions MCQ based type asked followed by a 2 Drawing Questions total marks of this paper are 400 Marks.

For B.Planning Course Mode ‘C’ – In this, there is a total of 100 Questions asked out of which 25 Questions from Maths consist of  20 questions MCQ based type and 5 questions numeric type. The second section is the Aptitude Section in which a total of 50 questions MCQ based followed by a Planning Section question in which a total of 25 questions MCQ based type question asked the whole paper consist of 400 Marks.

Marking Pattern for JEE Mains:

For every right question, MCQ based type and Numeric based type students awarded +4 Marks each and for every wrong answer MCQ based type -1 Marks as a penalty and for every wrong answer Numeric based type no marks deducted. Attempting not any of the questions gives no marks.

For B.Arch students those who give Drawing paper the evaluation of mark is a total 50. Those Students who give Drawing paper bring their own geometry box, eraser, color pencil, and crayons.

Exam Pattern for JEE Advanced:

JEE Advanced exams consist of two papers which were conducted on the same day the total duration of the exam is 3 Hour each in which various question asked from Physics, Chemistry and Maths there is a negative marking were also there, so be specific while giving any exam because this is the final door to get into IITs.

Question Paper Language:

The question paper of JEE Mains available in English and Hindi Language Some exam centers in Daman & Diu, Dadra & Nagar Haveli, Gujarat in all these exam centers question paper was available in the Gujarati Language according to your own convenience of your language you can choose Language options.

While the question paper of JEE Advanced is only available in English and Hindi Language.

Seat Metrix:

Seat Metrix gives an idea for how many seats a candidate competing with each other which are as follows:

There is a total of 13,583 seats in IITs

There is a total of 21,133 seats in NITs

There is a total of 4,718 seats in IIITs

and Government Funded Technical Institute offers 5,806 seats.

Those students who get good marks in JEE Mains then they are eligible for JEE Advanced only 2,45,000 ranks consider for JEE Advanced exam which they competing for 13,583 seats of IITs

JEE Considered as one of the toughest exams after class 12th according to the data 9 Lakh students applied for the Engineering course and very few ones make it’s final.
